Bisco, a dental product manufacturer, had a UR robot that they wanted to repurpose for a new application. They have an operation where an operator spends 5-10 seconds loading a machine and then 20-30 seconds waiting for the machine to finish its process. This made it an obvious choice for automation because a single robot could tend two machines and still get better output.

We worked with our distributor, FPE, to design this system and we produced a great machine that Bisco was very happy with. Bisco was a great customer to work with in the sense that they knew they had an operation that could be automated and were ready to move forward with it as soon as we mapped out the process. We're already talking about our next automated systems with Bisco with even more robots.
